Appliance Repair Technician

Peachtree Corners / Gwinnett · Full-time · Field-based

Required

  • 2+ years hands-on residential appliance repair
  • Working knowledge of refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, washers, dryers
  • Comfort reading schematics and using a multimeter
  • Own basic hand tools
  • Valid GA driver's license + clean driving record
  • Reliable transportation to the shop daily
  • Pass background check + drug screen
  • Customer-facing communication skills

Bonus

  • EPA 608 certification (sealed system / refrigerant)
  • Factory training on Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, Thermador, or Miele
  • Experience with built-in / panel-ready installations
  • Familiarity with manufacturer warranty processes
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish)
  • Strong reviews / references from prior customers
What you'll do: Run residential service calls (5–8/day average), diagnose issues, write estimates, perform repairs using OEM parts, document jobs in our portal, capture customer signatures, perform free safety inspections (gas/electrical/vent) on every visit. Most calls in Gwinnett with occasional North Fulton runs.

Required

  • 3+ years residential HVAC field experience
  • EPA 608 Universal certification
  • Service & install experience: central AC, heat pumps, gas furnaces, mini-splits
  • Brazing, pulling vacuum, charging by superheat / subcool
  • Comfort with electrical troubleshooting (24V controls, contactors, capacitors)
  • Valid GA driver's license + clean driving record
  • Pass background check + drug screen
  • Strong customer-facing skills

Bonus

  • NATE certification
  • GA HVAC license (Class I or II — Conditioned Air)
  • Ductwork / sheet metal fabrication skills
  • Indoor air quality (UV, filtration, humidity) experience
  • Manual J / load calc familiarity
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish)
What you'll do: Service, repair, and install residential HVAC systems. Diagnose performance issues, perform seasonal tune-ups, replace failed components, install new systems alongside ductwork crew. Help shape ProCare's HVAC division from day one — your workflows, your tools, your standards.
